On Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11, we had the pleasure of welcoming partners from architectural studios from Athens and Thessaloniki to our showroom for a two‑day event dedicated to architectural acoustics and the vital role it plays in shaping the experience of a space.
Our invited speaker was Elettra De Pellegrin, Architect & Founder of Slalom Srl, one of the most renowned companies in the field of acoustic design. Through an insightful and inspiring presentation, she highlighted how acoustics is far more than a technical parameter: it is a fundamental design tool that influences perception, comfort, and the overall spatial experience.

Throughout the session, we explored:
• how acoustic design can be seamlessly integrated into architectural concepts
• how research, innovation, and sustainable materials can transform both spaces and experiences
• why acoustics should be considered an essential element of architectural intent, not an afterthought
Participants also had the opportunity to visit the specially designed Slalom Acoustic Hub within our showroom. A dedicated environment showcasing solutions for acoustic comfort, sound‑absorbing applications, and their impact on the user experience.

Following the presentation, guests joined a hands‑on workshop where they experimented with materials, forms and textures, creating their own personalized takeaway gifts. This creative session, accompanied by engaging conversations and an exchange of ideas, brought the event to a close in a way that truly demonstrated the connection between knowledge, materials, and creativity.

Our warmest thanks to Elettra De Pellegrin and to all the architectural teams who honored us with their presence and shared with us moments filled with inspiration, creativity, and positive energy.
