When ergonomics is driven by research

On February 24th, we hosted a full‑day training session at our showroom dedicated to a fundamental topic in every modern workspace: ergonomics and the work chair.

Our presenter was Cleo Phyllis Rutz, Training & Sales Enablement Manager EMEA at Haworth, a company that for nearly 80 years has been redefining the way we work, creating flexible, human‑centric workplaces. With global presence and a leading role in workplace design, Haworth continues to inspire through innovation, expertise, and collaborations with world‑renowned designers.

We spend most of our day seated. Choosing a work chair is not a matter of aesthetics or simple comfort; it’s a decision that directly affects health, energy, and long‑term performance. Haworth approaches seating not as a design object, but as the outcome of scientific research. Through long‑term studies, collaborations with universities, and extensive data on posture and musculoskeletal load, they develop solutions that support:

  • the natural curvature of the spine
  • dynamic movement throughout the day
  • adaptability to different body types
  • reduced long‑term strain

During the training, our team delved beyond technical features , into the logic behind each mechanism. Through case studies, interactive testing, and hands‑on evaluation, we explored what truly sets an ergonomic chair apart.

The knowledge behind every right choice

Every good decision is rooted in knowledge.
At Asset, we invest consistently in the training of our team, because we believe that only through real understanding can we guide each client toward solutions that genuinely meet their needs.
The deeper our knowledge, the more precise and personalized our recommendations become.

For us, training is not a formality.
It is an act of responsibility.

Because our goal is not simply to propose a product.
Our goal is to ensure that every workspace genuinely supports the people who use it, live in it, and work in it.
